Itoh Peony ‘Old Rose Dandy’

Itoh ‘Old Rose Dandy’ is a charming compact bush with classic rose-colored blooms with raspberry flares at the center. Planting Instructions: May be planted in any well-drained, moist, slightly acidic soil. 1. Dig a hole large enough to encompass the tuberous roots without bending or circling. 2. Set the plant in place so the eyes (tender white swellings protruding from the crown area) are slightly below the soil surface. Cover with soil to original soil surface. Water regularly throughout the growing season. Remove spent blooms. In the fall, prune back foliage. Fertilize every 3 months.
