Itoh Peony ‘Cora Louise’

Itoh ‘Cora Louise’ is simply stunning in bouquets or the landscape with its semi-double blooms in white with a dark-lavender glow at the center.  These gorgeous blooms stand out against the lush, glossy green foliage.  ‘Cora Louise’ is slightly fragrant and does not require staking.  It is deer and rabbit resistant but attracts butterflies, making it an enticing choice for the home gardener!

Planting/Care Instructions +

Planting Instructions: May be planted in any well-drained, moist, slightly acidic soil. 1. Dig a hole large enough to encompass the tuberous roots without bending or circling. 2. Set the plant in place so the eyes (tender white swellings protruding from the crown area) are slightly below the soil surface. Cover with soil to original soil surface. Water regularly throughout the growing season. Remove spent blooms. In the fall, prune back foliage.

Pests or Diseases: Resistant to botrytis and phytopthora.
