Hosta ‘Wide Brim’

Hosta ‘Wide Brim’ has puckered, deep blue-green centers with very wide, irregular margins of creamy white that turn to a butter yellow with maturity, making it very striking. This Hosta has attractive buds and dense, pale lavender flower heads in summer. It is arguably one of the best Hostas around. The plant may be divided every few years or left undisturbed indefinitely. Hosta’s perform well in woodland settings where filtered light is abundant. The variegated types will do better in partial shade rather than dense shade.

  • Excellent for woodland gardens
  • Perfect for shady spaces
  • Low-maintenance
