Hosta sieboldiana ‘Frances Williams’

Hosta ‘Frances Williams’ is a fantastic shade plant with its huge, powdery blue-green leaves and striking gold-green margins. As the plant matures, the margins become wider, adding to its visual appeal. This large Hosta is favored by professional landscapers for its showy foliage, which measures over 10 inches long. Its rugged foliage features a leathery, corrugated texture and high resistance to slugs. In addition to its attractive foliage, ‘Frances Williams’ produces near-white flowers on tall 30″ scapes in midsummer, adding another dimension to its beauty. This hosta is an excellent choice for brightening up shaded areas. However, it’s important to avoid excessive sun exposure, as it may cause leaf scorching. ‘Frances Williams’ also thrives in mixed containers or tubs, making it a versatile and eye-catching addition to any garden.
