Hosta ‘Patriot’

Hosta ‘Patriot’ is incredible with medium, heart-shaped, deep green leaves with wide white irregular margins. This tall mound of beautiful foliage hosts the tiny bell-shaped lavender blooms that rise above it. ‘Patriot’ offers a showy display for ground cover, edging, accent plantings, and containers. It is easy to grow and may be divided every few years or left undisturbed indefinitely.

Planting/Care Instructions +

Planting Instructions: May be planted in any well-drained soil. Dig a hole large enough to encompass the roots without bending or circling. Set the plant in place so the eyes (tender white or purple swelling protruding from the crown area) are about 1-2 inches below the soil surface. Cover with soil to the original soil surface and water thoroughly.

Pests or Diseases: Chewing insects and slugs can disfigure the foliage. Leaf Spots and Crown Rot.
