Planting/Care Instructions +

Planting Instructions: 1. Place media disc into the pot and add warm water. Each media disc requires 2 to 2 ½ cups of water to expand. (It is recommended to start with the minimum amount of water and add additional if needed.) Once media has expanded, fluff media. 2. Once media has been prepared, plant bulb in the media with approximately the top 1/3 of the bulb showing above the media surface. 3. Keep the Amaryllis in a warm location (70-75°F), but not in direct sunlight. 4. Keep the media moist but not soggy. DO NOT OVERWATER. 5. After flowering, remove the flower stem just above the bulb and continue to water. Plant outdoors in the spring and fertilize throughout the summer. After the first frost, remove bulb from the media and store in a cool dark place for a minimum of 8 weeks. After 8 weeks, the bulb can be re-potted, and a new cycle will begin.
