Dryopteris marginallis ‘Leatherwood Fern’

The ‘Leatherwood Fern’ has lovely dark green foliage that is semi-evergreen. The fronds arise in a vase shape and rapidly tapers to a point. The blade is lance-shaped and leathery. This fern is great for the shaded rock or woodland garden and native gardens. It is also an attractive fern for gardens in containers!

Ferns are perfect for the background of the garden or in a woodland setting. Their gracefulness makes them especially suited for companions to the Hosta. Performs well in sun but prefers partial shade.
